GIRL’S STUDENT LEADERSHIP COUNCIL
Launched in November 2017, the Girls Student Leadership Council (GSLC) engages students around leadership and advocacy skills, character development, self-esteem, cultural identity, professional development, and communication.
AAFE provides opportunities for high school and college women to help with supporting and building the programmatic activities for OUSD youth. The internship is intended to teach and give young women the opportunity to occupy leadership roles, provide critical feedback around the key topics and needs, and create activities that inspire a culture of brilliance among girls and young women.
